My client is the successful break away litigation practice of a major City firm. They have seen incredible success in the last 10 years, much of it in new areas that they could never have forseen.
With their experience of high value International litigation, and asset tracing capabilities they have diversified from Corporate Disputes into a variety of disciplines. Including Family law. This includes family disputes in the range of £1-3 billion. Without having a family partner.
Those disputes were in reality commercial disputes because of their scale and structure.
They are now eager to recruit a Family Partner who can develop this side of the firm where they currently have two lawyers; but no one to lead it going forwards.
The successful candidate will have partnership aspirations and want to lead a Family practice.
By way of guidance though this firm’s management is tight and well run. New partners are not encouraged to get involved with the nitty gritty of running the firm, but instead to focus on the running of their own practices, with minimal admin and plenty of support. Letting them get on with what they enjoy best.
