In House - Banking and Finance -8+

IN HOUSE COUNSEL - Banking and Finance Legal Counsel - Knowledge Management - French and English speaking - Frankfurt - 8+ pqe

Our client is a large European bank. To boost the in house legal team in their prestigious Frankfurt office they are looking for a senior French/English speaking knowledge management or PSL lawyer preferably with regulatory, banking and finance, as well as managerial experience. The successful candidate will manage a team of circa 14 people to implement an efficient the knowledge management function. You will need strong people management skills to manage the team and to liaise with other divisions of the business to share information across the whole bank.

A working knowledge of financial law, banking law and EU institutional law as well as legal experience in relation to banking supervision and banking activities would be a strong asset. Any experience working in EU institutions, bodies or agencies, international organisations, central banks, financial supervisory authorities and/or law firms of international repute would also be beneficial although not essential.

For this 3 year fixed term contract you will have an EU member state Masters degree and have gained at least 8 years experience in a bank, law firm or advisory body. You will need to be a fluent French and fluent English speaker and a proven ability to work with multilingual and multicultural teams. The successful candidate will be offered an impressive compensation package as well as full relocation to Frankfurt.
