Residential Property Legal Assistant Job in Wells


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant or Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy Residential Property team in brand new, modern offices in Wells. Our client has a fantastic reputation in the local market and are a South West employer of choice.

About the role
You'll be working with and supporting a team of property experts on a diverse range of client work including the selling and buying of houses, flats and new build properties and various transfers and remortgages. This will include progressing and maintaining client files and drafting of letters, legal documents and contracts. You will be the main point of contact for clients and ensure that queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

About you
You will ideally possess residential property experience and a good knowledge and understanding of residential property terminology and the stages and work involved in a property transaction - whether it be buying or selling. You should be organised, thorough and have excellent communication skills. Strong IT skills are also a must, as will the ability to understand a diverse range & type of client. My clients are interested in transferable skills, so if you have previous residential property experience in another professional services sector - an estate agent for example, then please get in touch.
