Senior Company Commercial Solicitor / Head of Department

This firm is very similar in style to a West End practice. They have an excellent client base of HNW individuals and businesses, and a growing proportion of their work has an international element; the practice rests in the affluent area of Hampstead, North London. The firm has been established 15+ years and have grown year on year and now have a head count of over 50 members of staff. The company has attracted many lawyers out of the city who are looking to deal still with a high quality of work but want better work-life balance, progression, and prospects.

The Company Commercial department has two lawyers. They are seeking a Senior Company Commercial Lawyer to come in and lead the department. The firm has a tap of work they can turn on but currently, do not have the capacity with the current team to market the department to their client base. You will work with SME to national companies; work will include; Company sales and purchases, M&A, Shareholder agreements, Commercial contracts, Joint ventures, Limited liability agreements and some IP matters.
This role could be an excellent stepping stone for someone looking for career progression and Partnership who may have hit a glass ceiling at their current firm.

You will be a:

· Company Commercial Solicitor with 8 years PQE
· Be a commercially minded lawyer, able to spot opportunities to build business
· Have broad experience of dealing with a general Company Commercial caseload
· Have first-class client care skill
· Salary is negotiable depending on your background, plus a lucrative bonus structure
