My client is a Costs consultancy based in Merseyside who are currently considering appointing a Law Costs Draftsman to join their well-established team of Costs professionals. This firm deals with a wide area of law, i.e.: fast track and multitrack personal injury cases, clinical negligence, industrial disease, catastrophic injury, commercial Costs as well as Court of Protection.
The right candidate needs to have a minimum of 3 years¿ experience working as a Law Costs Draftsman specifically, drafting Bills of Costs and Points of Reply as well as preparing Budgets. Advocacy experience would be a significant advantage, so would be ACL qualification, although it is not essential. The salary on offer is dependent on experience; my client is willing to consider an annual rate of up to £40.000.
