Paralegal - TV

Handle is currently assisting a leading player in the TV industry in their search for a Corporate Paralegal – available for an initial 12 month FTC.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the corporate legal team, including the General Counsel, on new investments and acquisitions and internal reorganisations;
• Reviewing and drafting corporate authorisations, including board minutes and shareholder resolutions, and other ancillary documents;
• Managing contract databases and communicating relevant information and deadlines to legal and finance teams;
• Reviewing and drafting simple agreements, including NDAs and Exclusivity Agreements;
• Reviewing and summarising contractual data and analysing agreements relating to the creation, ownership and licensing of intellectual property;
• Administrative assistance to the legal team, including document management and updating workflow tables;
• Liaising with broadcasters and distributors and assisting with rights agreements and queries;
• Legal and corporate research.

To be considered, you should be able to hit the ground running with most if not all of the above, excellent administration and research skills, drafting skills (preferably from within a media environment, and an appetite to learn.
