Top Tier Investment bank - Maternity cover - Lawyer/Company Secretary role

My client is a global financial services company looking to hire an experienced lawyer with company secretarial experience to provide cover for a lawyer on maternity leave on a temporary contract. The role will include providing company procedure support to senior financial services boards and running all aspects of board governance within several committees. The candidate will also be advising on senior management responsibilities to the office of the Chairman, and supporting the Chairman in director assessments and noting key briefings for non-executive directors on senior manager responsibilities.

A successful candidate will have a good understanding of UK governance requirements and experience of corporate law compliance, ideally with previous secondment experience within a listed company.
