Your new company
You will be joining a pioneering shared legal services partnership between three Councils at the forefront of local government transformation. As Senior Property Lawyer, you will provide a comprehensive and proactive legal service, cementing their commitment to provide better outcomes together.

About the role
This is a key strategic leadership role with a number of objectives. You will act as the senior legal advisor in respect of the Property function. You will provide commercial legal advice and support, interpret both existing and proposed new legislation, deal with the most complex property transactions and offer clients optimum solutions. You will contribute to a culture of high performance and pro-activity, underpinning a Law & Governance service that has the agility and capability to deliver outstanding quality to an increasing customer base.

About you
We are looking for a talented and experienced lawyer with a current practicing certificate or CILEx qualification. You will bring with you an expert knowledge of property law and practice of dealing with a complex and demanding caseload. With excellent technical abilities, you will have the commercial and interpersonal skills necessary to drive business strategies.
