- Advising on material and/or strategic litigation and contentious regulatory matters which impact the business and instructing external lawyers or Counsel directly where appropriate;
- Collaborating effectively to ensure that contentious and regulatory matters with potential material impacts are appropriately supported within Legal and best practices shared with wider teams;
- Understanding and promoting the legal risk framework and related policies and challenges the status quo where appropriate;
- Actively promoting and enhancing the reputation of the Legal & Secretariat division across the Company;
- Identifying and building effective, lasting relationships with all stakeholders; including external law firms
Profile
Substantial experience of management and delivery of successful outcomes in relation to material litigation and contentious regulatory matters
