Prosecutions Lawyer

Our client, a highly regarded Local Authority based in London, is currently seeking a Prosecutions Lawyer for three months initially. 

The successful candidate will join a team of supportive and highly experienced Litigation Lawyers and will be responsible for taking on board a full caseload from the outset. The successful Prosecutions Lawyer will be responsible for advising on matters such as:

• trading standards
• food safety
• fly tipping and
• benefit fraud

You will also be required to conduct advocacy in the Magistrates and County Court. Previous public sector experience would be advantageous although not essential for the role and candidates with higher rights of audience are of particular interest.
