I am working with a leading litigation lender who work in the matrimonial and private client sector. They deal with all top tier family law firms and now have a very steady stream of work coming it. Due to growth in the business they are looking for a Family Solicitor to come in and act as a number two to the managing director. The firm have earned a great reputation for funding high value and complex cases.

They need someone to come in and get involved with the day-to-day management and administration of an active portfolio of loans, including regular contact with borrowers and their legal advisers.

Your tasks will include:


  • Interfacing with solicitors on current borrowers' cases
  • Interfacing with borrowers' requests (e.g. receiving and processing drawdown authorisations, confirming sufficient funds within relevant tranches) by email and/or phone, at all times upholding TCF principles
  • Managing the internal payments process (e.g. dissemination of payment authorisations, invoices, confirming database updates, confirming payment to borrowers)
  • Providing FCA compliant customer statements
  • Drafting of letters to solicitors regarding specific cases
  • Preparing CCA compliant loan documentation
  • Reviewing new applications and ensuring all relevant / required information is present
  • Preparing credit committee case notes and proposals
  • Ensuring client folders remain up to date
  • Be prepared to be lawyer-facing as required, including the attending of networking events
