Sole Legal Counsel job in Bath
Your new firm
This successful financial services company is looking for its first Legal Counsel to join their growing business in Bath.
Your new role
You will be working closely with the business as sole Legal Counsel and will be working on establishing the legal function within this company. You will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contacts, advising and assisting with reviewing and implementing change and drafting relevant policies and procedures. As well as providing legal advice to the business, you will also be providing additional support to various areas of the company.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a UK qualified lawyer with 1-6 years PQE gained either in house or in private practice. You will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual, and it is it essential that you possess prior regulatory experience - within the financial service sector. You must have exceptional organisational and communication skills and be able to confidently build relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
