This will be a key role within the business and you will be required to have extensive front-end construction knowledge on turnkey projects, with top private practice training and preferable in-house experience of working in a similar energy of construction industry. Other key requirements for the role are:
- Fully qualified solicitor practising in England and Wales with experience of working in-house
- Demonstrable knowledge of standard form contracts, particularly FIDIC, NEC3
- Significant experience of negotiating and drafting commercial and construction contracts
- Dispute resolution experience
- Extensive experience understanding, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts
- Experience in advising on bespoke and complex contracts
- Ability to advise the business confidently on difficult legal issues and build strong relationships with senior business colleagues
- A flexible attitude and a proven ability to multi-task
- A keen interest to share skills and experience with legal and non-legal colleagues as well as to enhance existing skills
