Family/Care Solicitor

Sue Ross Legal are currently recruiting for an experienced Family/Care Solicitor to join this forward thinking Firm of Solicitors’ Sheffield office.

Duties will include Fee Earning work relating to care proceedings - ranging from Public Law Outline meetings to issued proceedings, representing parents, family members and children (if a Panel Member). 

A current practising certificate, experience in Family Law and managing own case load, advocacy skills, the ability to work under pressure to short deadlines and meet financial targets and the ability to provide excellent client care are all essential requirements of the successful candidate.

Experience of care proceedings and legal aid in both family/care proceedings, experience of CCMS and being a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel would be desirable, but not essential.
