Dispute Resolution Solicitor (NQ)

This is a legal 100 firm which provides integrated legal services from 4 large offices. 

They are currently looking for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor (NQ) to be based in their Surrey office. The successful candidate will have a wide variety of dispute resolution cases, including commercial litigation (e.g. contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, construction disputes), clinical negligence and contentious probate. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload under supervision and own fee targets but will be expected to assist where called upon to work with other members of the Group.

To be considered candidates should have the following:

• NQ with previous experience within litigation
• Good knowledge of dispute resolution legislation, including Civil Procedure Rules and contractual / tortious principles and remedies
• Experience working within private practice
• Familiarity with (and, ideally, be achieving) time recording and fee targets
• Motivation and desire to continuously develop own technical expertise
• Strong team player with willingness to support others
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, in writing, over the telephone, and in meetings
