The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven Family Paralegal to join our clients’ highly regarded team in Leicester. Working closely with senior members of the department, the successful Paralegal will initially provide casework support and progress to taking on and building a caseload. Duties will include: attending clients to take instructions; completing applications and other legal forms; attending hearings to assist Counsel; advising clients where appropriate and; preparing cases for Court and / or mediations. Strong organisational and drafting skills in addition to the ability to liaise confidently with clients, Counsel and the Courts are pre-requisite.

The Candidate
You must be a Paralegal with at least 6 months’ experience gained ideally within a Family department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a good working knowledge of relevant legislation.
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail are essential for the position.
You will have excellent academics with at least a 2:1 at degree level (or equivalent).
You will be a team player with first class interpersonal skills.
You will be passionate and committed to developing your career in this rewarding field.
