Banking and Finance Solicitor

Our client is a leading International firm. They are currently seeking an Solicitor to join their Banking and Finance team in London.

The firm has a long standing excellent reputation both on the International and City stage. The Banking and Finance department is highly ranked in the legal directories and has attracted an enviable client base to the firm. The Banking team is built up of market leading experts and over the past few years has gone from strength to strength. Due to this continuous success, they are looking to grow and strengthen their Banking and Finance team.

The Banking and Finance group is recognised as a leading international practice and acts for banks, sponsors and major corporates on a broad range of transactions. You will be assisting on the deals that the group are involved in, covering a wide range of work areas and many deals are multi-jurisdictional.

You will have at least 2 years PQE, a strong academic profile and experience derived from a leading firm renowned for their corporate work and you are likely to currently be a solicitor in a recognised Banking and Finance team. The successful candidate will be coming from another international firm with wide ranging experience of leveraged and acquisition finance, real estate finance and restructuring transactions

You will come from a solid background in general banking and finance and your experience is likely to cover a variety of finance transactions including Acquisition, Leveraged, Funds, Structured, Real Estate, High Yield, Project and other forms of Finance.

The Banking and Finance team regularly advises on cross-border transactions and the successful candidate is likely to have strong experience advising on these transactions.

In this role will be exposed to big-ticket work on a daily basis, and will be afforded regular opportunities to become involved in major cross-border transactions on behalf of both lender and borrower clients.
