Legal Counsel

We are working exclusively with an award winning fintech start-up in their search for a top-tier Commercial Lawyer, based in London’s West-End.

As a result of their continued success within the fintech space due to their innovative approach to technology and the service they provide to over 1,000 clients worldwide, they are looking for a forward-thinking Lawyer to deliver a top class legal service to their fast expanding organisation.

Reporting directly into their newly appointed General Counsel, you will;

• Lead the GDPR project
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts
• Advise and support on product development
• Liaise with senior-management and other key stakeholders across the business
• Involved in varying public policy projects
• Create processes and procedures

They are looking for someone who is;

• Likely to have 5+ years PQE
• Qualified as a UK Solicitor or similar jurisdiction and trained at a leading city firm
• Extensive data protection expertise and advising on such matters (min 3 years)
• Previous experience working in-house (tech preferable) or long-term secondments
• Passion for technology and interest in start-up culture
• Innovative thinker
• Strong communication skills
