My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join their Stockport based law firm within a busy accounts department. The successful candidate will have extensive legal cashier experience and be fully compliant with the solicitor’s accounts rules.

- Managing all accounts ledgers (nominal and client)
- Client account control
- Billing
- Posting all transactions
- Processing all payments in/out
- Processing banking
- Reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Month/year end
- Liaising with external accountants for yearly solicitors’ accounts rules report
- Liaising with external accountants for yearly tax accounts
- Dealing with any staff accounts queries
- Assisting with Management accounts
