A Local Government client based in the East of England is currently seeking a Childcare and Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis.
As a Childcare and Adult Social Care Lawyer within the authority, you will be responsible for carrying a full and varied caseload from the outset, dealing with:
- Emergency Protection Orders, Interim Care Orders & Supervision Orders
- Pre proceedings and care proceedings
- Directions Hearing
- PLO’s, IRHs and CMCs
- Mental Capacity & Court of Protection
- NRPF, Asylum and Immigration issues and
- Safeguarding and Vulnerable Adults
The successful candidate will be working within a renowned industrial city in the East of England, offering a range of local amenities. This Childcare and Adults lawyer vacancy is available on an initial three month assignment and candidates must be able to hit the ground running.
Our client is particularly eager to speak with candidates with previous experience working in a Local Authority environment, although candidates with other relevant experience from alternative backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You will be available to commence work on no more than two weeks’ notice due to the urgent nature of the role.
