Commercial Property Locum

Venn Groups Legal team are currently recruiting for a Commercial Property Locum on behalf of a Local Authority based in the West Midlands. This post is likely to be on going for a minimum of 3 months but this will be influenced by the volume of work.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive who holds a current practising certificate. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you can demonstrate experience of dealing with academy conversions.

Duties will include:

• Acting on behalf of schools and churches in relation to all real estate aspects of Academy Conversion
• Dealing with agreement leases, transfers and more complex land swaps to tight DFE timetables
• Advising on other aspects of commercial property including leases, licenses, acquisitions, disposals and Landlord & Tenant matters as required

This role offers between £30-£40 per hour however this is dependant on experience.
