Locum Employment Solicitor.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Employment Lawyer to join a well established Local Authority based in Hertfordshire.

The contract is initially for 3 months, however there is a strong possibility that this could be extended.

Applications will be considered from Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with experience gained within the public sector. The successful candidate must also have a current Legal Practising Certificate.

The candidate must have good experience:

• Managing a complex caseload of employment matters
• Advocating at preliminary case management hearings and dealing with Employee Relations queries at the Employment Tribunal and the County Court.
• Drafting complex agreements including TUPE transfers.
• Providing advice to schools when required

For this role, the client is offering a rate of up to £32 per hour for the successful candidate.
