Credit Controller (12 month FTC)

Our client is a law firm with origins dating back to the late 1700s, they are now an international law firm with nearly 900 staff located across offices in the UK, Middle & Far East. 

They are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join their Manchester office on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities

Proactive chasing of clients to ensure overdue bills are paid on time

Update procedures in order to improve in aged debtors

Complete client to office transfers 

Liaise with Billing team and Cashiers to resolve client queries promptly

Maintain accurate notes on credit control software

Produce and dispatch monthly departmental reports and statistics

Complete debt write-off slips 

Build and maintain effective client relationships

Candidate Profile

Two years' credit control experience within a partnership 

Ability to take initiative and manage own workload

Commercial awareness
