Opportunity to join a multi-office law firm in their Regulatory team, working alongside existing senior fee earners and an existing client base.
Client Details
A growing law firm with offices in the Midlands and beyond.
Description
This is an opportunity for a Regulatory Solicitor with experience across a broad range of regulatory matters to join a growing team.
The team is well placed in the market, with an existing client base who instruct them on a mix of Criminal Regulatory defence work.
The firm is a large full-service law firm, so the team works closely with other disciplines - often assisting corporate clients in relation to specific regulatory work. The ability to build internal relationships is a really important part of this role.
You'll get the chance to make your own mark in the team and be given the opportunity to have autonomy to go out and market and push forward your offering. If you have ideas on how to grow your regulatory business, then this firm will back you and listen to your suggested approaches.
The team act on a range of advisory and contentious matters so you will get exposure to the full mix of regulatory work. The team typically act on health and safety matters, corporate defence, consumer protection, food safety and more. It would suit somebody who had a similar mixed background.
If you are looking for a Partnership position, then the team is more than happy to consider this - you will be expected to demonstrate a track record in business development and ideally clients who regularly instruct you. If your client base is its infancy but you are committed to growing this, then they are happy to set out a Partnership track and what you would need to do to get there.
Profile
It's likely that you'll have at least 5y experience advising on Regulatory matters and you will have a strong interest and track record in client development.
