Senior Company Commercial Solicitor sought for a Lexcel-accredited firm in Essex.
A well-established, multi-office practice, our client is firmly rooted in the communities in which they are based, serving clients from across the length and breadth of England and Wales. With numerous accreditations including the coveted Lexcel and Investors in People, they have a well-earned reputation for excellence.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Company Commercial Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving firm in the Chelmsford area. Becoming part of a specialist team, acting for companies locally, in the capital and overseas, the successful Solicitor will manage a varied caseload to include: company formations; licensing agreements; sales and acquisitions of businesses and related property; shareholder agreements and; regulatory matters. The ideal Lawyer will have client following to bring to the firm and strong business development expertise.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of five years’ PQE gained within a well-regarded Company Commercial department.
You must have first class technical skills with expertise encompassing all aspects of Commercial law.
A client following or strong contacts would be highly advantageous but is not a pre-requisite for the position.
You will ideally have prior supervisory experience and be able to mentor junior members of staff.
You will be confident with first class negotiation and interpersonal skills across all level.
Prior experience working to Lexcel standards is desirable.
