THE COMPANY
A growing healthcare group.
THE ROLE
The group is now looking to add a transactional corporate commercial Lawyer to join their expanding office in central London.
The right candidate will have a successful track record in dealing with business acquisitions and investments, corporate re-structures, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate work.
The candidate will also need experience in drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts including shareholders' agreements, investment agreements, finance documents, consultancy agreements and supplier agreements, to name a few.
The candidate will need to have good transaction management experience in company and asset purchases and will be able to work independently.
The company uses external lawyers to act on the deals, so the role is more deal management than drafting.
ABOUT YOU
A qualified lawyer with at least 4PQE gained in a well-respected law firm in the UK.
Extensive, in-depth knowledge of business acquisitions and corporate matters.
Strong academic record.
Ability to manage multiple business acquisition transactions.
Prior in-house experience engaging external counsel would be of benefit.
The role would suit someone with strong exposure to corporate M&A work and presents an opportunity to work at General Counsel to the business.
Exposure to the healthcare sector would be an added benefit but is not essential
It is envisaged that candidates with 4-5PQE will have the relevant skills/knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and they are happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
