A leading and high performing Private client team in Birmingham are now looking to appoint a Trainee Law Costs Draftsman who are offering a great salary and benefits package.

My client offer clear values and purpose. They are a legal practice committed to excellence with a national market in areas including community regeneration, housing, charities and procurement.

The position will focus mainly on Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury cost claims, but assistance may be required with other areas of work the firm undertakes such as Court of Protection bills.

You will be responsible for drafting cost budgets, liaising with fee earners, lodging bills for detailed assessment as well as general administration duties.

The role requires a numerate individual with fantastic attention to detail who can meet deadlines whilst working under pressure. Excellent IT and communication skills are essential for this role, together with an ability to conduct research on a rapidly changing area of law.
