Industrial Disease Solicitor/FILEX 10+ PQE - Newcastle

My client is recruiting for qualified FILEX or Solicitors with 10 years plus PQE to join their renowned Work Place Injuries team in their North East offices. The firm is a top 25 UK firm who are nationally recognised for their leading work in the personal injury sector.


The team acts on the behalf of claimants and handles a wide range of claims arising from incidents within the workplace or diseases resulting from negligence in the work place. The ideal candidate will have had previous litigation experience and are confident in handling their own caseload of workplace injuries including Respiratory cases such as Asbestos and will be technically competent in handling high value complex files. The work is demanding and will be suited to someone with good time management experience. Due to the impact these injuries may have had on clients' lives, it is also important that you work with integrity and empathy.
This role would also be perfect if you have experience supervising a team and are able to demonstrate having previously engaged in Business Development and building relevant industry relationships. An existing network of workplace disease individuals throughout the North East would be particularly advantageous . A relocation expenses package is also available for the right candidate.
