Private Client Solicitor - HNW Tax & Trusts
A highly regarded Legal 500 listed national commercial practice is seeking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the firms' envied Private Client Team and be based at the firms' flagship Birmingham city centre office.
The practice is well known as a very strong commercial firm that acts for predominantly high profile clients in a variety of sectors covering real estate, residential property, corporate finance, commercial services, energy and technology to name a few.
The firms' Private Client Team uses its commercial standing to leverage instructions from high net worth individuals, owner managed businesses, directors and other professionals and on occasion individuals within the public eye.
You will be tasked with handling a broad variety of wills, estates and trusts on behalf of high net worth clients which will include trust work, will drafting and estate administration. You will not simply deal with relatively straight forward matters as the majority of work will comprise complex subject matter such as dealing with high value complicated financial structures.
As a senior member of the team you will be expected to be a technical referral point to more junior members and in due course there is scope for you to progress within the firm's structure. You will be enthusiastic about business development and attend at seminars and presentations so there is massive scope for progression for someone with an appetite for growing the firm's offering.
Ideally you will be a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE or you will be a Legal Executive with equivalent experience. You will have exceptional client care skills and you will be perfectly comfortable dealing with individuals and families who are on a sound financial footing.
This is not limited to being an office based role and there will be an abundance of opportunities for face to face client engagement both within and out of the office.
Given the firms' standing in the market you will naturally receive a competitive salary and benefits package which includes a substantial holiday allowance of 27 days with the option to carry some entitlement over, as well as private healthcare and medical insurance and a host of other benefits.
