THE ROLE
The firm is now looking to recruit a Mental Health panel-accredited solicitor to supervise a team of fee-earners. You must have a solid background in legally-aided work, and LAA supervisory status. The firm has a number of offices located in the area and it is envisaged that you will be visiting clients at those branches as well as clients detained in hospital. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be an experienced mental health solicitor;
Possess excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language and to engage fully with those instructing you;
Be a robust, determined and ambitious advocate with a creative, problem-solving approach;
Be extremely ambitious, for yourself and for the firm as a whole, and be prepared to develop your own caseload through determined networking and marketing;
Have a flexible, “can-do” approach in terms of client care and supporting colleagues;
Have good IT skills and experience in using a case management system.
