Business Immigration Lawyer NQ + To £80,000
Rare opening at this top 30 City firm for an ambitious corporate immigration lawyer to join this busy team. They work with finance directors, HR teams, Global Mobility teams and in-house employment lawyers of major UK and international companies to navigate complex immigration rules. You will have relevant experience in either a large commercial firm, or immigration boutique firm advising on:

• sponsor licence applications and compliance (including compliance audits);
• the sponsorship management system;
• immigration obligations triggered in corporate transactions and exercises;
• sponsorship and visa applications under all Tiers of the Points Based System (including sponsorship under Tier 4);
• European free movement rights and related applications;
• settlement and citizenship applications;
• preparing and delivering immigration compliance training to clients;
• visa applications for high net worth individuals and representatives of overseas businesses; and
• the prevention of illegal working (including responding to enforcement action).

You will be working across the public and private sector and should have experience of working cross border to support global mobility functions. Experience of advising on related employment risks in immigration situations, including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, and immigration litigation would be valuable but not essential.
