Our clients are a successful and respected law firm. They are currently looking for a Court of Protection Lawyer to join their team.
The successful Court of Protection Lawyer (Caseworker, Solicitor or Executive) will be part of a team that is responsible for managing the affairs, assets and estates of anyone unable to manage their own finances. You must have some experience and understanding of Court of Protection services including deputyship services, gifts, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney and replacing deputyships with private trusts.
You will be working with colleagues which together form a team with legal expertise including financial management, planning, investment, taxation and returns to court. Post-holders can expect to deal with clients, draft documents, progress the litigation process and attend court. You will have a excellent telephone manner and work well within a team.

Responsibilities & Experience:
- Have experience within a legal environment and an understanding of office procedures
- Join a team responsible for managing the affairs, assets and estates for anyone unable to manage their own finances
- Handle a full range of Court of Protection services including deputyship services, gifts, Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney and replacing deputyships with private trusts
- Be part of a team which together combines legal expertise including financial management, planning, investment, taxation and returns to the court

- Have a professional telephone manner and pay attention to detail
- Possess good IT skills
