Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial and IP)

Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts and IP focus.

This is a high profile appointment at an exciting time for the organisation and integral to their future growth.

Reporting the the Head of Legal you will draft and negotiate high end commercial agreements, including intellectual property agreements, research agreements and collaboration agreements as well as provide relevant senior stakeholders, legal and commercial advice covering IPR, contracts, defamation and compliance.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE and substantial experience of intellectual property law , IPR, research contracts and wider company law exposure.
• Ideally previous in-house commercial experience and a genuine interest in research and development
• A credible, robust relationship builder with outstanding persuasion and influencing skills.
• Excellent organisation and analytical skills

You will lead a unit within the team so an ideal chance to broaden your leadership skills.
