My client is a leading, Top 100 UK Law firm with a notable client base who are now seeking an experienced, full time Commercial Solicitor to join their award-winning team and Commercial practice at their modern offices in the heart of Oxford.

Our Commercial practice is broad and encompasses many areas of law including contracts, charities, competition, procurement, outsourcing, IP and data-protection. We advise a wide range of clients in the local government, health care and education sectors to name a few and act for companies ranging from start-ups to SMEs to large organisations. We have been involved in large infrastructure projects, social care work and frequently provide advice on work which carries importance at a national strategic level. We put our clients first and have a strongly commercially focused and friendly team, dedicated to getting the right results for our clients whatever their circumstances.

Ideally you will have circa 3 years PQE however in truth applications from well-connected solicitors with any level of PQE gained in city or large regional firms would be of interest here.

The successful Commercial Solicitor will be exposed to a wide range of commercial matters including terms and conditions, distributorship agreements, outsourcing agreements, IP licenses, research and development agreements. Knowledge of or interest in competition law, data protection law and public procurement law would be welcomed.
