A Head of Private Client is required for a rewarding opportunity with a highly regarded firm in North Yorkshire. The role will be in York.

My client, an established Legal 500 firm, are looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor. Providing a wide range of legal services, they are keen to expand their already successful Private Client team, opening up a great opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor who is looking to take the next step to head the deparmtnet. My client prides themselves on professional values and business-like approach to their Clients' instructions.

The role will entail, drafting and advising on wills, administration of estates and probate, powers of attorney, court of Protection issues, formation and administration of trusts as well as ongoing personal and family tax advice and planning.

The ideal candidate will have vast experience within the Private Client discipline, including matters such as Wills, Probate, LPA's and Court of Protection matters. As well as extensive experience working in a busy and demanding environment whilst also maintaining a high standard of client care.

It is expected that you will currently be operating at Partner level already or indeed be viewed as a senior operator in your current role. This is by no means a strict requirement, but we hope that your tenure will be in and around the ten year mark in terms of your PQE. Please note; we will certainly not rule out anyone who falls below this figure. The role is a vast one incorporating all the major elements of Private Client work; Tax, Trusts, Wills and Probate, Court of Protection.
