Corporate/commercial Paralegal, Media Company

An exciting global broadcasting business is seeking a corporate/commercial paralegal to join the EMEA legal team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Legal Director, you will be part of the wider legal team and will assist on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. You will be exposed to excellent quality and variety of work, and will gain a good level of responsibility which is akin to a trainee lawyer in a law firm.

Day to day work will include:

• Drafting of a broad range of agreements with supervision where necessary including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, novation agreements, consultancy agreements and general supplier agreements.
• Carrying out research on points of law and drafting advice.
• Working with and providing general support to members of the EMEA paralegal hub, the legal and compliance teams in London and to other legal colleagues based outside of EMEA including but not limited to arranging the signing of documents, booking notarial services and reviewing (with supervision where necessary) draft agreements from different jurisdictions.
• Providing general support/dealing with queries from other parts of the business.
• Managing changes to the board composition of various EMEA entities in the corporate group.
• Supporting the company secretarial services for the EMEA entities and ensuring compliance, including but not limited to drafting board minutes and resolutions, power of attorney, completing, and arranging the delivery of, key company documents to the Registrar and liaising with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of legally required documents.

This is an excellent role for paralegals wishing to build upon and broaden their in-house experience. You must be willing to work hard and have a passion for broadcasting. Candidates will be considered with excellent academics and previous paralegal experience.
