A Birmingham based law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor into their team and would consider residential conveyancers who would be interested in taking on a more commercial role.

Client Details

A high street law firm in the Midlands.

Description

A Birmingham high street firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor into its small team. The team has around 3 fee earners plus support staff and serves clients from the Midlands market on a range of property matters from acquisitions and disposals through to general lease renewal work.

The team is busy and you will be given your own caseload and clients to deal with. Ideally, they would like to find somebody with solid commercial property experience but they have a very supportive culture and therefore this role could suit a residential property lawyer who wants to retrain.

The firm is long established and, although small, has a loyal client base.

It's a high street law firm so you wouldn't be getting the big name clients that you might find in the larger Birmingham firms but in return you'll be working within an excellent culture with a lot of work/life balance.

If you are a junior solicitor, the team is happy to train and spend time with you to get you up to speed on more complicated matters.

The key for them is fit. They're a small firm and everybody gets on and most of the people at the firm have worked there for a long time.

If you are a property solicitor considering your options and would like to work within a small but supportive team and a firm that can offer you a genuine work/life balance, then please get in touch for a confidential discussion.

Profile

Ideally you will have solid experience in commercial property matters but the firm can be open minded. If you have a genuine interest in commercial property but have more of a residential focus, then the firm would still like to hear from you.

Equally you could be an established commercial property lawyer at a larger firm looking to do something different and take on a more autonomous role.

Job Offer

Competitive depending on experience. Chance to retrain.
