Senior Lead Counsel

In-house Senior Commercial Lawyer - Manchester

Our client has big growth plans and to support its growth an opportunity has arisen for a commercial contracts lawyer to join the business and manage what will be a small but growing team. The successful candidate will report into the General Counsel and take responsibility for working closely with the business and managing legal risk. Specifically this will include:

- IT supply contracts including digital marketing
- outsourcing agreements
- general commercial contracts including supply contracts, partnership and sponsorship agreements
- consumer contract terms and conditions, including the Consumer Rights Act

To be considered for this opportunity you will be an experienced commercial contracts lawyer. Candidates with either an in-house and/or private practice background will be considered. Experience of working in a regulated environment with exposure to for example reinsurers would also be beneficial but not essential.

You must have solid people management skills and be able to take responsibility for and lead a small legal team.
