Our client is looking to recruit a Corporate Solicitor to join its busy Corporate team.

A large Birmingham based private practice, with a strong Corporate offering from general M&A work through to private equity.

Description

This is an opportunity for a Corporate NQ to join an established Corporate team in Birmingham city centre. The team acts for a range of clients from bluechip organisations, private equity houses and SMEs.

You will get involved with a Corporate matters and will typically be involved in:

• General M&A work
• Restructurings
• AIM work
• Ad hoc day-to-day advisory work - shareholders agreements, JVs, articles of association, company incorporations

The team has an extremely busy pipeline of work and they are confident that the incoming solicitor will be busy with their own caseload, dealing with clients directly as well as offering support to the senior members of the team.

The team actively encourages their solicitors to get out to the local market and network and you will be given opportunities to do this and to come up with your own ideas. The team is also very sector focused so if you had a particular interest in a certain sector then this will also be encouraged.

Profile

It's likely that you'll have at least 6 months' experience either as a qualified solicitor or as part of a training contract. The firm will consider candidates with strong Corporate experience from smaller firms wanting to make the step up.

The team is very busy and therefore they will consider candidates with all levels of PQE.
