THE FIRM
This multi-accredited Legal 500 firm has a great reputation for its private client work and is now recruiting for a junior fee-earner of about 1 – 2 years PQE to join the team and take over an existing caseload of matters. This role is based in Peterborough but there may be some overlap with the work of colleagues in the London head office.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will have completed his or her training contract in a well-regarded firm and have undertaken a substantial amount of post-qualification work in private client matters, relating mostly to wills and probate work. The current caseload consists of fairly straight-forward estates administration, wills and LPA work, and the firm would encourage the successful candidate to undertake some additional marketing and networking in order to develop the role further. This is a great opportunity to consolidate your existing experience and gain additional training and extend your knowledge base in a supportive, friendly team. You should have outstanding client care and communication skills as well as meticulous attention to detail and good time-management skills. You will:-
Have an excellent academic record and a good background in private client matters;
Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical matters in clear, accessible language;
Have good IT skills and be able to prioritise matters with good time management skills.
