Description

This is a rare opportunity to work within a standalone specialist contentious probate team in Birmingham. This is an established team which sits separately to a wider litigation offering, ensuring that they can truly offer niche market leading advice to its clients.

You'll be working as part of a small national team with an existing workload, although there will be an expectation that you will help drive the department forward and get involved with client networking.

The types of clients you will be acting for include beneficiaries, executors and trustees and you will have your own caseload, taking the lead on contentious matters.

There will also be the opportunity to supervise juniors. In terms of career progression, the firm can offer a clear path - you will be part of a small team so there is plenty of opportunity to make an impact and make a name for yourself both internally and with external clients.

Profile

The appointment will ideally be at Associate/Senior Associate level so you'll need to demonstrate a number of years specialising in contentious probate matters. If you are a member of ACTAPS then this would be an advantage as it will demonstrate your commitment to this area of law.
