Legal Secretary

This is an opportunity for a legal secretary to join the Residential Property team of one of North Yorkshire’s largest and longest established firms.

You will be joining a vibrant and growing law firm, serving both business and private clients. The firm is heavily focused in supporting their staff and also regularly get involved in supporting local organisations fundraising events and activities.

As a residential property legal secretary, you will assist the residential conveyancing team in the firm’s head office in York. You will be responsible for preparing correspondence and documents through audio and copy typing, ensuring that all correspondence and documents are checked for errors, preparing transfers and completions, arrange meetings and preparing and submitting SDLT forms online.

You will have experience in preparing and submitting transfers and completions.
