Are you a legal cashier seeking a fresh challenge, working with a highly reputable law firm based in their Ashby-De-La-Zouch office?
Our client is actively seeking an additional legal cashier to join their growing finance team, where you will take part in day to day legal cashier duties. The firm focus on a full range of legal services, so you will need to ensure you complete tasks to a high standard.
Your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Checking completion statements, calculating SDLT & land registration fees, client to office transfers, client bills, fee earner time allocation, bill inquiries & reports
- Completion of bank reconciliations, in accordance with SRA rules
- Distribution & posting of petty cash
- Purchase ledger duties
- Key finance administrative duties
You must have previous experience working in a legal cashier position of a law firm and a firm understanding of the SRA accounting rules.
