Our clients are looking to recruit a Dispute Resolution Secretary to join their growing team based in Eastleigh.

Their experienced Dispute Resolution Team provide advice in respect of all types of litigation, including contract, professional negligence, employment, boundary disputes, Inheritance Act claims, personal injury and general commercial related matters.

The clients are Lexcel accredited and continues to seek to offer a first-class service in the ever-changing legal landscape. They pride themselves on offering a friendly, accessible and personal service to all of their clients and are looking for the right person to join them.

The ideal applicant will have experience in the following areas although they are prepared to provide training where necessary to the right individual:

  • Managing clients and their expectations, in particular proactively managing telephone calls and dealing with clients who attend the office without appointments, and taking payments from clients;
  • Preparing electronic & physical files and dealing with the administrative requirements relating to file handling;
  • Accurately preparing correspondence and documents through audio-typing, word processing and at times independently at the direction of the fee earner;
  • Drafting Court and Tribunal documents;
  • Organising diaries and liaising with fee earners regarding their schedules;
  • File closing and archiving;
  • General support to the team to aid its growth.
