McKenzie Douglas are recruiting for a well sized and reputable business in the South West region. They are a market leader and have an international presence, it is truly a fantastic time to join them as they enhance their brand and size through acquisitions and organic growth.

The business is commutable from the following locations: Bath, Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester and some locations on the M4 Corridor. There is the potential to work 1 day from home per week to make the commute manageable.

Responsibilities

You will work in a friendly team and support the business on their legal queries. You will be involved in general commercial matters (including the drafting, reviewing and negotiating of contracts) and can also expect to advise on issues revolving consumer finance. You will also turn your hand to ad hoc litigation and other operational queries, as they arise.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, 2 – 6 years PQE*
• Commercial contracts experience (essential)
• Exposure in the financial services industry would be highly desirable
• Any knowledge or understanding of Consumer Credit Law would be beneficial  

Package

In return, you will be rewarded with a basic salary plus a company car, benefits and the prospect of working 1 day from home.
