Leading UK law firm is looking to add to their contentious construction team with the hire of a Senior Solicitor or Associate- this role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Role Profile:
The role will involve all aspects of resolving construction and engineering disputes in a number of interesting sectors including:
- Energy,
- Utilities,
- Real estate,
- General commercial litigation.
You will also be involved in Court of Session and Sheriff Court actions, mediations, adjudications and arbitrations for a wide range of clients. The breadth and quality of work available ensures a challenging and interesting role and this position presents a genuine career development opportunity for the right candidate.
Candidate Requirements:
- You will have solid post qualifying experience of contentious construction work within a well-regarded practice.
- As client contact will be guaranteed from the start, you will also possess very good client and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate a proven ability to handle own files and client relationships (with supervision where required) as well as working as part of a team.
- The successful candidate will be keen to be proactive in business development activities and building client relationships.
