Our client, a top 50 accountancy practice have an opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join this team of 3 in their busy HR department.
The Role
- Administration – supporting the HR team with general administration, including maternity, paternity, flexible working, change of terms etc. Keeping the HRIS (Simply Personnel) accurate and up to date.
- Recruitment - coordinate interviews, attending first stage interviews to support where required. Liaising with payroll in terms of any leavers, supporting the team with the leaver process, including exit interviews.
- Onboarding – Manage on-boarding process for starters, including right to work and any compliance checks. Co-ordinate and monitor induction and probation review process.
- Training & Development – End to end coordination of training and CPD activities, co-ordination and administration of annual performance appraisal.
- Reward & Benefits – Co-ordination and administration of employee benefits, annual salary review and bonus process.
- Policies & Procedures - in conjunction with the team, ensure all company policies and procedures are kept up to date.
- Projects – Work to deliver ad hoc special projects to support the HR team
Key Requirements:
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards.
- 2 years relevant HR experience.
- Aspirations to achieve Level 5 and 7 CIPD qualifications.
- Extremely organised individual.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and remain mindful of sensitive issues.
- Solid IT skills along with the ability to pick up software quickly and effectively.
- Excellent work ethic and desire to provide a superior client service.
- Confident, professional and articulate in dealings both internally with partners and staff.
- A natural team player in addition to be being a self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to cope in a fast paced environment, manage high volume workloads and deliver work to agreed timescales.
- Flexible with the need to meet tight deadlines.
