THE ROLE:

Having recently won a significant amount of work within the property department, our client is now seeking a number of committed and experienced volume conveyancers to handle a manageable caseload of traditional conveyancing files (and some more interesting ones), from cradle to grave. Working within an open plan office, the environment is inclusive and supportive, with a strong team-ethos.

The salary is also not to be sniffed at, and above market rate for this type of role.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at the very least 1 year volume conveyancing experience;
  • Either be an experienced conveyancer (preferably with CLC qualification) or conveyancing solicitor;
  • Be very well organised and able to handle a manageable caseload from cradle or grave;
  • Understand the conveyancing process, leasehold and freehold and will be able to deal with queries relatively autonomously (but within a supportive team and environment).
  • Experience of investing title and reviewing Conveyancing search results
  • Ability to identify issues which may impact on lenders security/future marketability.
  • Knowledge of sale, purchase and remortgage processes
  • Confident outgoing personality and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and clients
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of working within a volume based environment and working to multiple targets
  • Good keyboard skills and a basic understanding of excel/word/outlook
  • Educated to GCSE level (minimum of 5 GCSE’s grades A-C)
  • Flexibility and adaptability and a willingness to embrace technology and change
