A rare opportunity has arisen for a cost drafting assistant to join a highly regarded law firm based in their Birmingham City Centre office.
Our client is a highly recognised law firm throughout the Midlands and they are now seeking an additional cost drafting assistant to join their Birmingham team. The firm will offer you a fantastic working environment, along with the stability, security and progression you're looking for.
You will provide bill drafting and other cost related services to the private client, personal injury and PPM department, reporting to a costs lawyer where your key duties will include, but will not be limited to;
- Liaising with fee earners, secretaries, third parties, legal aid and courts service
- Preparation of detailed costs budgets
- Lodging and submitting bills
- Preparing points of dispute and points of reply
- Undertaking negotiations
