In-House Software Lawyer – Cambridgeshire
An opportunity has arisen for a talented software lawyer to join a global business going through rapid growth as lead lawyer for this specialism covering UK, Europe, Russia and Africa.
In this position you will lead advice in regard to IT issues across the organisation for these regions working closely with the business. This will include software licenses, maintenance, IT projects, IP and other technology related matters. You will draft and negotiate contracts and manage litigation, supporting both the commercial and procurement teams. You will advise on IT strategy, manage risk and implement policy and procedures across the business.
You will be a UK qualified lawyer with at least 5 years* of relevant experience in technology law including sales of technology, licensing, drafting general IT agreements and general IP knowledge.
